Targeted Possibilities provides a sponsored Golf Ball Air Cannon experience at Scotch Meadows Country Club in Laurinburg, North Carolina.
The 2026 Live Like Madison Golf Extravaganza brought golfers, sponsors, and volunteers together at Scotch Meadows Country Club in Laurinburg, North Carolina, on October 23–24.
With 34 teams participating and more than $100,000 raised across the event, the tournament was a tremendous show of community support for an important cause.
Targeted Possibilities was proud to contribute to the experience with our Golf Ball Air Cannon, providing an exciting challenge for golfers while helping maintain an efficient pace of play.

Honoring Madison’s Legacy
Live Like Madison was founded in memory of Madison, a young girl whose battle with osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer, inspired her family to continue fighting pediatric cancer in her honor.
The organization focuses on three important goals: funding pediatric cancer research, supporting children and families affected by the disease, and building awareness through education and community events.
Its annual Golf Extravaganza is one of the ways supporters come together to help carry that mission forward.

Bringing Air Cannon Excitement to Scotch Meadows
For this year’s tournament, the Golf Ball Air Cannon was included with player registration, allowing all participating teams to enjoy the experience without an additional purchase.
Our cannon was set up to challenge golfers to hit a designated fairway landing area approximately 40 yards wide.
The goal was simple: give players an exciting shot while helping their team advance toward the green.
The experience was made possible through sponsorship from Edward Jones, Becca Hughes, providing an additional opportunity for sponsor recognition and player interaction.
Keeping Over 30 Teams Each Day Moving
One of the challenges facing tournament organizers is balancing entertainment with pace of play.
A popular activity can create backups if the station is not designed and operated efficiently.
With more than 30 teams participating each day, we worked to keep the Air Cannon station moving while still giving golfers time to enjoy the experience.
Our station operated without significant backups, a noticeable improvement over reports from the previous year’s tournament, when as many as three teams were waiting at the activity.
By using a fairway landing target rather than requiring every team to wait for the green to clear, we were able to keep the activity engaging without unnecessarily slowing the tournament.
For tournament organizers considering an Air Cannon, it’s a useful reminder that the way an activity is structured can be just as important as the activity itself.
More Than $100,000 Raised for an Important Mission
The 2026 Live Like Madison Golf Extravaganza raised more than $100,000 in support of the organization’s pediatric cancer mission.
That accomplishment belongs to the organizers, donors, volunteers, sponsors, and golfers who came together to make the event possible.
We were grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the experience and support an organization making a difference for children and families facing pediatric cancer.
Thank you to Live Like Madison, Scotch Meadows Country Club, and Air Cannon sponsor Edward Jones, Becca Hughes, for including Targeted Possibilities.
