Another great Upstate charity golf tournament is in the books.
Targeted Possibilities was proud to support the 7th Annual Wingnut’z Golf Tournament benefiting the MB6 Foundation at Carolina Springs Golf Club in Fountain Inn, South Carolina.
The tournament brought golfers together for a day on the course while supporting a cause that is making a difference for children throughout the Upstate.
Helping More Kids Get in the Game
The MB6 Foundation was established in 2018 in memory of Michael Blake, a 10-year-old who passed away during baseball practice in Fountain Inn in 2014 due to a heart condition.
Michael loved sports and the time he spent with his teammates. Today, the foundation created in his memory works to make sure financial challenges do not prevent other children from experiencing those same opportunities.
The MB6 Foundation helps economically disadvantaged children participate in community team sports by helping with registration fees, equipment, and other costs.
According to the foundation, it has contributed more than $40,000 since 2019 to help local recreation departments in communities including Fountain Inn, Mauldin, Simpsonville, and other areas of the Upstate.
That means money raised through events like the Wingnut’z Golf Tournament can help put more kids on fields, courts, and teams throughout our community.
Seven Years of Golf and Giving
The 2026 Wingnut’z tournament marked the event’s seventh year.
Golfers gathered at Carolina Springs Golf Club on September 26 for the tournament. The event also included activities beginning Friday evening before Saturday’s golf.
Targeted Possibilities joined the action on the course with our Golf Ball Air Cannon on Hole 10.
Instead of hitting a traditional tee shot, teams had an opportunity to launch a golf ball down the fairway with the Air Cannon.
It creates a memorable experience for the players while giving the tournament another way to add something different to the day.
Most importantly, experiences like this can be built into a charity tournament without creating a complicated stop for each group.

Making Charity Golf More Memorable
Charity golf tournaments have an important job.
They need to raise money, but they also need to give golfers an experience they will remember.
When players have fun and enjoy the tournament, they have another reason to return the following year. That can help organizers build a stronger event over time.
Our goal at Targeted Possibilities is to help charities create those moments.
Our Golf Ball Air Cannon, Drone Drive, and Drone Drop experiences are designed specifically for fundraising golf events. They can add something different to the tournament while keeping the focus where it belongs—the organization and cause the golfers came to support.
The Wingnut’z tournament was a great example.
A beautiful day at Carolina Springs. A fun experience for the golfers. And, most importantly, an event supporting an organization helping Upstate children get the opportunity to play the sports they love.
Thank you to Wingnut’z, the MB6 Foundation, Carolina Springs Golf Club, the tournament organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and golfers who helped make the event possible.
Targeted Possibilities was proud to be a small part of it.
