Drone Drive

The most unique golf tournament experience your players have never seen.

Instead of hitting a tee shot, players watch on a display monitor as a Targeted Possibilities FAA Licensed Pilot flies their golf ball from the tee box to the green using a specialized drone. Players help line up the final approach before the ball is released, creating a fun and interactive closest-to-the-pin opportunity.

Drone Drive combines innovation, entertainment, and fundraising into a single experience that creates excitement across the entire course.

Key Benefits

  • One-of-a-kind golf experience
  • Highly interactive and engaging
  • Creates memorable sponsor opportunities
  • Generates significant fundraising revenue
  • Speeds up play on designated holes

How Drone Drive Works

  • Players arrive at the designated hole.
  • A Targeted Possibilities team member explains the experience.
  • Our drone pilot flies two of the players balls to the green while they watch on a monitor.
  • At the green the team works together to help the pilot align over the pin.
  • The team has a 45 second shot clock to determine the position to drop the ball.
  • After the first ball is released the players have a second 45 second shot clock to make any corrections they would like for the second ball.
  • Once both balls have been released team continue play from the best drop location or move on if they got a Hole In One!.

Sponsorship Opportunities

We understand the critical role sponsors play in the success of every charity golf tournament. To ensure their continued support, it is essential that sponsors receive meaningful exposure and a measurable return on their investment.

Our Drone Drive creates a premium, high-visibility sponsorship opportunity unlike anything players have experienced before. Because the activity naturally draws attention and excitement, sponsors become part of one of the most memorable moments on the golf course.

Targeted Possibilities takes sponsorship value a step further by creating customized branding opportunities designed to maximize sponsor exposure. From custom drone landing pads prominently displayed on the green to on-course signage, player communications, and event marketing materials, we work with tournament directors to ensure sponsors receive significant visibility before, during, and after the event.

These enhanced sponsorship assets often allow charities to position Drone Drive as a premier sponsorship package, creating opportunities to command higher sponsorship values and generate additional revenue for the organization. More importantly, sponsors leave knowing they were associated with an innovative experience that players will continue talking about long after the tournament ends.

When sponsors see strong engagement and value, they are far more likely to return year after year, helping build a stronger and more sustainable fundraising event for your charity.

Flight Authorization & Course Requirements

One of the biggest questions tournament directors ask is, “Can you fly at our golf course?” In most cases, the answer is yes.

The majority of golf courses require little to no pre-event coordination. Our team handles all flight planning and safety considerations to ensure a seamless experience on tournament day.

For courses located near airports, military installations, major sporting venues, or other controlled airspace, additional FAA authorization may be required. As FAA Part 107 licensed drone pilots, we are authorized to request the necessary flight approvals on your behalf.

Even venues located in restricted airspace are often eligible for approval. However, early planning is important. Some authorizations can take up to 60 days to process, so we recommend contacting us as early as possible when planning your event.

Our goal is simple: make the process easy so you can focus on running a successful tournament while we handle the aviation details.
